Winning the Pan American Cup to qualify for the 2010 World Cup
When you’re playing against a stacked deck, compete even harder. Show the world how much you’ll fight for the winner’s circle. If you do, someday the cellophane will crackle off a fresh pack, one that belongs to you, and the cards will be stacked in your favor.
CAN Fund Testimonial:
With the Olympics just 2 years away, our qualification for the Games draws nearer. In October of 2011 in Guadalajara, Mexico the winner of the Pan American Games gets an automatic birth in the London Olympics. The next 2 years will be the most important time in my athletic life and as such, many other aspects of my life will be put on hold including my part time job. Thanks to the CAN Fund I will be stress free financially as I pursue my Olympic dream. When you get a boost like this from the CAN Fund, it pushes you to excel even further than you thought you could because you now know that your individual and team success is aided by the donations of countless of individuals and businesses who just want to see Canadian athletes succeed internationally.
Gold Medal Pan American Cup 2009
I used to play in a band with my older brother and another set of brothers. I sang and played guitar and we were called The ACP, which stood for Arnold Carter Project. We played a few frat parties and barbecues along the way. The largest crowd we ever played for was maybe 300 people but we loved every second of it. I still love play but my dreams of making it big in a band are long gone, if they were ever even there.
