Favorite Sports Memory: Beating Wales 2-1 at the Common Wealth Games after trailing 0-1 until the final 3 minutes.

How you got involved in your sport: Rossland had a really great field hockey coach (Donna Hebert) who developed a really strong program. She got me interested. There also weren’t any other team sports offered at my high school.

The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: I was 8 years old and my grandfather took me to watch the athletes parade by at the 1996 Common Wealth Games in Victoria. I fell in love with the idea of representing Canada, although at the time, I didn’t know how or when.
