On Feb. 24, 2011, CAN Fund was the Charity for the Canucks Game against the St. Louis Blues. Fans and Olympians joined together at Hub Restaurant & Lounge to cheer on the Canucks, meet Canadian athletes, and host a post Game celebration.

The CAN Fund has selected a terrific national roster of athlete speakers who will share their journey. From "Rising every time we fall" to "Pursuing Excellence" each of our athletes has a powerful story to tell that will inspire, engage and captivate the audience.

The Canadian Athletes Now Fund hosted a "GOLD SILVER BRONZE" Celebration to honor our Vancouver medalists and celebrate their journeys.
CAN Fund celebrated the Games and Canada as the host Country this February in Toronto at the Steam Whistle Round House.

CAN Fund and Shaw presented 5 athletes on our waitlist with a cheque for $6000 each in a "surprise" presentation to put towards their training, coaching, nutrition, equipment and basic living expenses as they strive to represent Canada!

Canada Answers the Call to Support Our Athletes More than 400 items, 200 volunteers, 70 athletes and viewers from across Canada came together on November 16, 2008, to raise a total of $300,000 for Canadian athletes!

Holly Micuda, a 13 year-old girl living in Oakville, Ontario, decided to sell wristbands to support Canadian athletes. She's started by selling 300 wristbands at her school, and has sold over 7,500 across Canada!
