John De Souza, my coach at the University of Toronto and on the Indoor Canadian Field Hockey Team.

He shared and helped ignite his passion and love of this sport with me and helped develop me into the athlete that I am today. He drove me to always do my best and always remember why I play this sport.

When was the moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada?
When I was growing up playing ice hockey watching our women’s hockey team play in the Olympics I knew that one day I wanted to do that. Fast forward 10 years and I made the switch to field hockey and kept the same dream alive!
What is your favourite thing about being on the road with your teammates?
Being surrounded all day, every day by other inspired and motivated people trying to reach the same goals!
