CAN Fund Testimonial: With the amount of traveling and training slopestyle athletes do, things quickly get very expensive. CAN Fund is helping me by allowing me to concentrate on being the best athlete I can be for Canada and focus less on financials. Representing Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics will be such an honor and I’m so grateful that CAN Fund is helping to support my dream.
Best Result:
3rd 2012 Stoneham World Cup

Share one valuable tool that you use on a daily basis that helps you to be the best athlete you can be: The gym is a valuable tool that I use as much as I can to stay strong. Most of the time it’s not if you will get hurt, but when you will get hurt. The stronger I am, the less healing time I will need.
Who is one person in your life that has impacted your career and what was it that they taught you: My parents have been the most influential on my snowboarding career. They supported me when I was just starting out and helped me in so many ways, even before slopestyle was in the Olympics. They didn’t really care if I won or lost, as long as I was happy they kept supporting my dream. It’s so rewarding to show them that all they’re love and support has taken me to where I am today.
Fun Facts: I am a huge Harry Potter fan. I was in gymnastics for 10 years.
