How you got involved in your sport: My parents were avid outdoorsy people, paddling in the summer, skiing in the winter.
The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: Finishing 2nd last in the Junior (under 18) event at the National Championships at 13 years old. The boys in the red and white Canadian gear were a real inspiration.
