As an athlete I am willing to make many sacrifices to reach my goals. As a mom it is difficult to know that those sacrifices are ones I do not make alone; my family makes them with me. It is not possible for me to be a really good mom, a world class athlete, and hold a job in order to support my children and fund my rowing; there are not enough hours in the day.
