5/6 hours a day, 6 days a week

In two sentences or less, what does it mean to be supported by women?
Being supported by women means being supported by the strength of your sisters. It is because of strong women that I am motivated. There is nothing more powerful than being surrounded by woman who push you to be stronger as you help push them. Woman supporting woman is the strongest support you can have in your life.

What is your pre-game/pre-competition meal?
Nutella on white bread with peanut butter (so so so much nutella!)

What is the best part about representing Canada?
The humble pride that Canadians are known for internationally. Canadian athletes have grit, and we are here to respectfully compete and win.

What is the biggest hurdle you have overcome to get to where you are today?
Getting to and staying at weight for my sport is something that I struggle with. Being tall as a lightweight has its pros and cons. Knowing my body and being able to know how I feel and understanding how I preform at weight is something that I have had to learn and continue to learn about. For those who dont know what lightweight rowing is or why this is so important, it likely sounds rather silly. Being a strong and successful lightweight requires immense dedication. Figuring out how to do with with balance and keeping performance at its best is a large hurdle that I am getting better at and am still working on overcoming !

What is your favourite movie?
Julie and Julia

Biggest lesson you have learned to get to where you are today?
At the end of the day, its up to you to get yourself there. Own your failures, respect your accomplishments, go for more.
