How many hours do you workout/train/compete on average each day and how many days per week?
Each day is an average of 4-5 hours of training (2x on water, 1x gym or run/bike). we train 6 days a week with Wednesday afternoon, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday’s off. Total it about 20-25 hours/week of training.
How does being a CAN Fund #150Women recipient make a difference to you?
Being a CANFund #150Women makes a huge difference for me. I balance my time between Halifax, Toronto, Florida, and Europe. This support makes it easier to get to where I need to be, whether its a flight home for some recovery and rest or gas to drive to training camp. This support will go a long way.
In two sentences or less, what does it mean to be supported by women?
Our sport was advocated by women for generations for inclusion into the Olympics. Without them I wouldn’t be here. They created a future for me by fighting a hard fight. It is so special.
