Favorite Sports Memory: When the Blue Jays won the World Series..the first time! That was awesome.

How you got involved in your sport: I always loved the water and was one of those kids who would be doing flips and cartwheels all over the yard. After doing a summer diving camp I was hooked.

The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: At the age of 10 I attended my first Junior Nationals. When the competition was over the team who would be representing Canada at the Junior Worlds was announced and called up to be recognized. It was at that moment that I dreamed of one day my name being called to represent Canada. 10 years later my name would be called.

Favorite Quote: “I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan

CAN Fund Testimonial:  Receiving CAN Fund gave me the extra support and financial means to focus solely on my sport heading into the Olympic season. I am thankful that I won’t have to worry about groceries, training expenses and gas while I take a year away from working to train full time .I am so lucky to have CAN Fund supporting my dreams. Thank you so much!

Best Result: National Champion 3m. Bronze medal – Spain Grand Prix

Fun Facts: I have a lot of embarrassing stories, I think more than most people. I feel lucky in a way because they always make people laugh. I love to make others laugh.
