“We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone”

CAN Fund Testimonial:
Moving to Alberta part-time to train more effectively for bobsleigh, meant mainly living month to month for me. Acquiring the means and resources to compete with the rest of the world was difficult as an amateur athlete. With the CAN Fund, I have been able to spend less hours working to pay bills, and more hours training to win Gold for Canada! Thanks CAN Fund!
Best Results:
2010 Olympic Silver Medalist
2nd in the Salt Lake City World Cup 2009
Fun Facts:
In my spare time I love reading and I usually read one or two books a week! I also like to write, sing and play my guitar. My teammates call me a “germophobe”, but I can’t help it – I really like for things to be clean! Even though I compete in a winter sport, I actually HATE the cold. I’m convinced that one day I will move to a place where below zero temperatures, shoveling snow and scraping your windshield in the morning does NOT exist!!
