How you got involved in your sport: My mom played field hockey for Canada from 1973-1979, so I grew up around the sport. I started playing in a league when I was 7.
The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: I remember watching the 1988 Seoul Olympics on tv when I was 6, and thinking “I don’t know what sport I’m going to choose but I’m going to go to the Olympics when I’m older!”

Fun Facts: I won the 2009 Vancouver City Chase, and then went on to compete in the 2009 North American City Chase Championships in Quebec City, QC. I am a huge Vancouver Canucks fan. My brother plays on the Canadian Men’s Field Hockey team
