My mother, Chantal L’Écuyer  

Tell us how she made a difference and share 3 words that describe who that person is to you. 
She is the one who encouraged me to try wheelchair basketball. She worked very hard in my teenage years about my self-image and not only accepting my condition, but embracing it also. She is a person who puts family first and herself last.

What is the biggest hurdle you have overcome to get to where you are today?  
Learning English was a big thing to overcome and get where I am today. I became more confident on and off court, I acquired leadership skills, and I even got a full scholarship to go play and study in the U.S.
