She is the one who encouraged me to try wheelchair basketball. She worked very hard in my teenage years about my self-image and not only accepting my condition, but embracing it also. She is a person who puts family first and herself last.

What is the biggest hurdle you have overcome to get to where you are today?
Learning English was a big thing to overcome and get where I am today. I became more confident on and off court, I acquired leadership skills, and I even got a full scholarship to go play and study in the U.S.
