Winning against Ireland in one of my first games playing for Canada. We scored a play that involved all the newest players of the team, I felt as though it was a good omen for what was to come.

CAN Fund Testimonial:
I was fortunate enough to be able to volunteer at the CAN Fund Athletes house in Vancouver during the 2010 winter Olympics this year, where I was surrounded by successful athletes current, and retired. It was an amazing experience and it became very obvious that the CAN Fund has touched and changed the lives of many athletes. It was inspiring to be in such a successful crowd and to see the families and friends that supported our winter athletes from day one beaming with pride as they watched the successes of all our hardworking athletes. CAN Fund provides athletes like myself, an opportunity to focus all our attention on the task at hand, to qualify for the Olympics and to stand on the podium for Canada.
