When was the moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada?
I remember training really hard during the summer, back in Sherbrooke, running in the streets and dreaming to wear the Canadian jacket. I was about 17 years old. Two years later, I was wearing it on the podium in my first ever world cup competition.
Who is your hero and why?
In sports, I have 2 idols: Micheal Jordan and Rafael Nadal. They are hard workers, who never give up, push hard and gentlemen.
Best advice you have received?
Rest is as important as training.
What advice would you give to young kids or teenagers about following their dreams?
To achieve your dream, you need passion. Without passion, everything and every hard moment, that will happen throughout your career, will be difficult to overpass. If you really love what you are doing, you will know why and how to overcome difficulties along your path.
