Favorite Sports Memory: Watching the Vancouver 2010 Olympics on TV. I will never forget how our country came together in support of Canadian athletes.
How you got involved in your sport: My parents put me in a recreational swim program to get me involved in sport. From there my coach suggested I join a more competitive program and my parents forced me into joining my first competitive team. After the first few months I loved it.
The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: When I was 12 there was at a meet held in Calgary called the Sears Swimming Skins Meet and Canada’s best swimmers were there. Curtis Myden and Joanne Malar held a camp which I attended and they spoke to us about their experiences on the national team. After that I was obsessed with making the Olympics.
