Favorite Sports Memory:
My favourite sports memory would be having the Olympics and Paralympics in Vancouver/Whistler in 2010. It lit a fire for Canadians everywhere. It was so great to see such pride for our country. I was very fortunate to have been able to attend the Games and stay with friends while there. It reminded me that there is so much more to sport than my own racing, but that it touches people, strengthens people, joins cultures and languages all in to one. It was so uplifting to see Alex Bilodeau win Canada’s first Gold on home soil and so many hard fought races/games that made Canadians proud!
