Favourite Sports Memory: My first year at Camp of Champions (2006). My brother, sister and I went for the 5 day camp and loved it so much that we begged our dad to let us stay for the entire 7 day session. I am so blessed and grateful to have this experience and support. I haven’t missed one year of camp since that magical trip to Whistler in 2006.
How you got involved in your sport: I was always trying to do the sports my brothers did. I discovered the endless challenges of snowboarding on rails and jumps when I was about 10 with my brother and the neighborhood boys in their back yard.
The moment you knew you wanted to represent Canada: I’ve always intended to represent Canada no matter where I am, but it wasn’t until a recent competition that I realized I could have a chance to represent Canada through the love of my life; snowboarding.
