Tell us how she made a difference and share 3 words that describe who that person is to you.
Chelsea has been my best friend and greatest supporter through some of the most difficult challenges in my athletic career. She is someone I can spend every day with, train hard alongside, and laugh with about life. I can’t imagine not having her as part of my journey.

Best advice you have received?
Easy is easy. Hard is hard.
How did you get involved in your sport?
My aunt saw an advertisement in a local paper in Ottawa for a one week triathlon camp with the Bytown Storm. She encouraged me to try out the camp and I fell in love with the sport after just one week of swimming, biking, and running. I decided to keep training and participated in my first triathlon a few weeks later.
Why are you proud to be Canadian?
I am proud to be Canadian and to wear the Canadian flag around the world because our country is very respected and admired internationally. Canadians have made a name for themselves as polite and respectful people, and I have met so many people on my travels who simply want to chat because I am from Canada. I love that our culture is one of acceptance and courtesy, and I carry that with me wherever I venture around the world
